Day 7: A Day at the Waterfront
The Seattle Waterfront is where it’s at. You’re right on the Sound and with an unobstructed view, it doesn’t get much better than that. A day down at the piers is a day loaded with fun. Spend time exploring and learning about Northwest marine life at the Seattle Aquarium located on pier 59.
Hop on the Seattle Great Wheel on pier 57 with up to 5 of your best friends for a 15-20 minute view of the city like no other. Check out Wings over Washington for the full Washington experience. This is an indoor flight theater that takes you on a journey across the state showcasing the most iconic and beautiful places Washington has to offer.
And don’t forget to take a ride on the classic indoor vintage carousel also located on pier 57. Inside the Miner’s Landing you can find plenty of places to grab some grub. Other places to eat include waterfront dining at Ivar’s Acres of Clams also the fish bar, The Fisherman’s Restaurant & Bar, Anthony’s Bell Street Diner, Elliott’s Oyster House, Cutter’s Crabhouse, and so much more from cheap eats to fine dining find it at the Waterfront. There are also a number of parks to visit, like Myrtle Edwards or the Olympic Sculpture Park. The Seattle Waterfront is definitely a place to stop by and see whether you are in town for a few days or a lifelong local.
