25 Days in Seattle

Day 18: A Day at a Seahwaks Game

Its football season!! And time to spend a day at the game!Hawks If you are lucky enough to get to see a game in person make sure you go early. Allow yourself lots of time to get to the stadium, traffic is always a bear and parking can be expensive, to avoid it completely take transit or an uber/lyft. If you do plan on driving you definitely have do some tailgating! If you are taking other means of transportation, when you get there, explore the stadium, find the exhibition hall, and the stadium store. Or don’t go into the stadium right away instead hit up a few of the bars near by before the game. Jimmy';sJimmy’s on First, connected to the Silver Cloud hotel, is a perfect spot to go, there’s always a nice sized crowd there to enjoy the game. If you are driving it can also be a smart choice parking wise. ElysianElysian Fields is another good place to go before the game, they have tons of space which usually gets filled up for game time, makes for a great atmosphere. SluggersAlso for some fun on a lighter budget try Sluggers Seattle, a dive bar that’s fully loaded in Seahawk memorabilia, good crowds, and cheap beer! It’s a great place to go both before and after the game. Inside the stadium find pregame entertainment before kickoff, find free gear, there are also tons of places to grab food from, from farm fresh to greasy goodness. Really anyway you go you just have to appreciate the fact that you’re at a Seahawks game in the first place  and you can’t forget the main rule…scream your head off!! GO HAWKS!
